Plant with Purpose helps restore productivity to devastated land in countries such as Mexico, Tanzania, Haiti and the Dominican Republic by creating economic opportunity out of environmental restoration. Since 1984 they have helped more than 100,000 people in some 230 villages lift themselves out of poverty through their holistic approach to sustainable development.

Birch Aquarium at Scripps is the public exploration center for the world-renowned Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego.
