This three-step experience begins with a natural loofah cleanse with warm
water and shower gel. During the exfoliating and hydrating sage scrub,
you feel the sensation of five showerheads streaming warm water from head
to toe as you lie in utter relaxation. The treatment finishes with a luxurious
application of our Lemongrass and Sage Massage Soufflé. Spa at Torrey Pines
Signature Ritual: With the use of indigenous sage and the essential
oil of lemongrass, this ritual uses The Spa's signature line of products
to create a unique experience that will leave you feeling inspired with
a sense of euphoria. This ritual begins with a warming soak in our hydrotherapy
tub with our lemongrass and sage bath salts. Next, enjoy our Costal Sage
body scrub, followed by a personalized body massage using our signature
line of massage products. Coastal Sage Manicure
and Pedicure: Enjoy our custom-blended lemongrass and sage products
in the ultimate treatment for reviving and pampering your hands and feet.
Treatments will start with our Costal Sage Scrub
to remove dead skin and bring younger skin to the surface. Relax with
an extra-long massage and deeply hydrating paraffin therapy. This treatment
will leave you feeling refreshed and energized with the use of the essential
oil of the lemongrass and sage. Spa Director Darcie DeBartelo has designed numerous treatments that draw upon spa traditions from various cultures. Guests can choose rituals including a scrub, wrap, and massage based on the spa traditions of the Orient, Australia, France, Arabia, and India along with our signature and The Napa Valley. "In designing treatments for The Spa at Torrey Pines, I focused on the integrity and therapeutic value of each service," says Ms. DeBartelo. "Our menu does not reflect trendy gimmicks, but focuses instead on experiences that have real physiological, psychological, or beauty benefits. Guests embark on a journey designed to ease them away from the stresses of daily life towards a state of serenity." Perched on the Pacific coast of Southern California, nestled in the Five-Diamond rated Lodge at Torrey Pines®, The Spa at Torrey Pines offers a serene setting for relaxation and renewal. The Spa's design is influenced by the delicate principles of Arts & Crafts design as depicted by the style of Scottish architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Many of the furnishings are custom-made and imported from Scotland. A feng shui expert was retained to advise on the layout of the 9,500 square-foot space designed to reflect a residential feel. In addition to 14 treatment rooms, The Spa offers ample facilities where guests can spend an afternoon or a day utilizing the dry saunas, herbal-infused steam rooms, and aromatherapy inhalation rooms.
