Join Foxen Vineyard & Winery's Dick Doré (Co-Owner) and Marketing Jenny Williamson Doré (Marketing & Sales) along with A.R. Valentien's Executive Chef Jeff Jackson, Chef de Cuisine Kelli Crosson, and Advanced Sommelier Paul Krikorian for a special communal meal of seasonal bounty with some of the state’s most notable wines. Set on the terrace of A.R. Valentien, each Artisan Table Signature Wine Dinner begins with a reception, followed by a dinner featuring a custom menu that’s skillfully crafted to enhance the wine pairings. Throughout the evening, guests are guided on a sensory journey with insight from the special guest duo about Foxen's winemaking process and what makes it so special.

Foxen Vineyard & Winery

Bill Wathen and Dick Doré have been making wine together since 1985, when they founded Foxen Winery & Vineyard at the historic Rancho Tinaquaic in Northern Santa Barbara County. Since that time their dedication has remained the same: the creation of small production, sustainably-farmed, vineyard-focused wines using a straightforward and minimalist approach to winemaking. In 2009, the Foxen team completed their new solar-powered winery and tasting room, and 2019 marks their 35th harvest.

Dick Doré is a sixth generation Santa Barbara County resident. Dick traveled the back roads of France, Italy and Spain, where he developed a love of wine. Dick and his family returned to his roots on the Rancho Tinaquaic, which was purchased by his great-great grandfather and Santa Barbara County pioneer Benjamin Foxen in 1837 in the late seventies. In 1985, he established Foxen Vineyard & Winery on Rancho Tinaquaic with long-time friend, Bill Wathen.

Jenny Williamson has been involved in the Santa Barbara County wine industry for nearly thirty years in public relations, communications, marketing and sales. When she’s not out selling wines or her volunteering as the current Board President of the Santa Barbara County Vintners' Foundation, Jenny can be found tending her garden or playing with their many grandkids.
