Artisan Table Signature Wine Dinner Series Returns to A.R. Valentien
La Jolla, California – The tables are set for the return of one of The Lodge at Torrey Pines’ most memorable monthly dining experiences: the Artisan Table Signature Wine Dinner Series, featuring exceptionally-crafted communal meals paired with California’s finest wines. Begun in 2006, the Artisan Table Series has grown into a popular annual tradition celebrating the diverse seasonal abundance of local farmers, highlighting the subtle changes of flavors throughout the season.
Set on the terrace of The Lodge’s acclaimed A.R. Valentien restaurant, each Artisan Table Signature Wine Dinner begins with a reception, followed by a custom multi-course dinner menu skillfully prepared by Executive Chef Kelli Crosson and her culinary team to enhance the wine pairings. Throughout the evening, guests are guided on a sensory journey with insight from The Lodge’s Advanced Sommelier Paul Krikorian and the special guest winery about the winemaking process and what makes the wine selections for the evening so distinctive.
The Artisan Table Signature Wine Dinners are designed to create an enjoyable and convivial atmosphere, where communal table arrangements and dishes served family style encourage diners to intermingle in one the most beautiful coastal settings in the region.
The spring lineup for the Artisan Table Signature Wine Dinners includes:
- April 21, 6:00-8:30 p.m. – Foxen Vineyard & Winery (Santa Maria) with special guests Dick Doré and Jenny Williamson Doré, Co-Owners. Cost: $225 per person.
- May 19, 6:00-8:30 p.m. – Darioush Estates (Napa Valley) with special guest Dan DePolo, President. Cost: $250 per person.
- June 16, 6:00-8:30 p.m. – Chappellet Winery (Napa Valley) with special guests Dominic and Amy Chappellet, Proprietors. Cost: $250 per person.
- July 21, 6:00-8:30 p.m. – Nickel & Nickel/Far Niente (Napa Valley) with special guest Bruce Mooers, President. Cost: $275 per person.
- August 18, 6:00-8:30 p.m. – Paul Hobbs Winery (Napa Valley) with special guest Paul Hobbs, Owner. Cost: $295 per person.
- September 15, 6:00-8:30 p.m. – L’Aventure Winery (Paso Robles) with special guest Chloé Asseo-Fabre, Owner. Cost: $250 per person.
Menus will be released by Chef Crosson and posted online approximately one month prior to each dinner.
Tickets to each of these exclusive, intimate dinners are limited to 30-36 people, and can be purchased online. Ticket price includes complimentary valet parking.
