The Lodge at Torrey Pines Hosts 17th Annual Celebrate the Craft on Oct. 20

La Jolla, California – The Lodge at Torrey Pines, the AAA Five Diamond La Jolla resort, hosts it 17th annual Celebrate the Craft culinary festival on Sunday, October 20. This tradition showcases California’s robust farm-to-table movement, welcoming the region’s finest chefs, food artisans, producers, wineries and breweries. The event takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on The Lodge’s Arroyo Terrace overlooking the world renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course and Pacific Ocean. Each all-inclusive ticket includes extensive offerings of food tastings, wine, craft beer and complimentary valet parking. Guests interested in extending their Celebrate the Craft experience can also reserve a room package starting at $595 per night. Also, a portion of the ticket sale proceeds are donated to Slow Food Urban San Diego, a non-profit organization that encourages the enjoyment of and access to local, seasonal and sustainable foods.

Curated by The Lodge’s Executive Chef Jeff Jackson, Celebrate the Craft showcases some of the area’s top culinary talent including Paul Arias (The Fishery), Andrew Bachelier (Campfire/Jeune et Jolie), Pete Balistreri (Tender Greens), Kelli Crosson (The Lodge at Torrey Pines), Drew Deckman (Deckman's en el Mogor), Jack Fisher (Town and Country), James Foran (Grossmont College), Greg Frey, Jr. (The Golden Door), Antonio Friscia (The Florence), Eric Gallerstein (Mastiff Sausage Company), Matt Gordon (Blue Bridge Hospitality), Katie Grebow, Jason Knibb (NINE-TEN), Timothy Kolanko (Urban Kitchen Group), Jarrod Moiles (The Patio Group), Steven Riemer (Oceana Coastal Kitchen), Michael Stebner (Sweet Greens), Kara Snyder, Andrew Spurgin, and Ryan Studebaker (MIHO Gastrotruck).

The Lodge’s sommelier Paul Krikorian hand-selected a collection of esteemed California vintners for the event including Dolce (Napa), DuMOL (Russian River Valley), EnRoute (Russian River Valley), Eric Kent (Windsor), Far Niente (Oakville), Frog’s Leap (Napa), Grgich Hills Estate (Rutherford), Jackson Family Wines (Napa & Sonoma), Linked Vineyards (Sonoma), Navarro Vineyards (Philo), Nickel & Nickel (Napa), Ramey Wine Cellars (Napa), Robert Biale (Napa), Robert Craig Winery (Napa), Roederer Estate (Anderson Valley), Silver Oak (Napa), Tablas Creek Vineyard (Paso Robles), and ZD Wines (Napa).
