Join Liquid Farm's Founder and Proprietor Jeff Nelson along with A.R. Valentien's Executive Chef Jeff Jackson, Chef de Cuisine Kelli Crosson, and Advanced Sommelier Paul Krikorian for a special communal meal of seasonal bounty with some of the state’s most notable wines. Set on the terrace of A.R. Valentien, each Artisan Table Signature Wine Dinner begins with a reception, followed by a dinner featuring a custom menu that’s skillfully crafted to enhance the wine pairings. Throughout the evening, guests are guided on a sensory journey with insight from Jeff about Liquid Farm's winemaking process and why he is passionate about his craft.

Liquid Farms

The Liquid Farm team allows the wines to develop on their own with little intervention, minimal or no new oak and use no additives or machines to manipulate the wines inherent personality. The project is also committed to blending from the handful of special vineyards we work with in the small AVA of Santa Rita Hills to produce a collection of Chardonnays that are markedly different expressions, but with the same thread of intense minerality and salinity they started with in the vineyard.

Jeff has been in the wine business for the past 20+ years, working for some of the top Champagne and Burgundy houses. With the name Liquid Farm on Jeff’s mind for many years, it was the catalyst in 2009 for starting the project with the helping guidance of Brandon Sparks-Gillis of Dragonette Cellars.
