Stephanie joined The Lodge at Torrey Pines in September 2002, five years after moving to San Diego from Ontario, Canada. Stephanie started at The Lodge as the first Executive Meeting Manager and then was promoted to National Sales Manager followed by Associate Director of Sales. Since July 2013, she has served as the Director of Sales and leads the entire sales team. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys sunny San Diego beach days with her family and watching her son, Jonathan (Jono), play soccer and surf the beautiful coastline of the Pacific Ocean.

Lauren found her home at The Lodge at Torrey Pines in 2018 after five years in the Orange County luxury hotel market. Lauren was born and raised in San Diego and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Southern California. As the Associate Director of Sales, she handles the Canadian and Midwest markets. She also demonstrates a passion for consultative sales, team leadership, and colleague mentorship. Her extensive experience and knowledge of Southern California give Lauren a unique perspective to find the perfect venue for your group. Away from work, Lauren enjoys hiking with her golden retriever, Gunnar, exploring new restaurants, and soaking in a coastline sunset.

Beth joined Evans Hotels in February 2012, bringing over 14 years of hotel sales experience across Southern California. She began her journey with the bayfront resorts, the Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa and Bahia Resort Hotel, as National Sales Manager. In 2013, she was promoted to represent The Lodge at Torrey Pines, and in 2017, she was named Director of Sales at the Bahia Resort Hotel. In 2022, Beth transitioned to Director of National Accounts for Evans Hotels. With a passion for building relationships, she represents the portfolio in the Mid-Atlantic market and exclusively with ConferenceDirect. She also oversees Colorado for The Lodge at Torrey Pines—a state close to her heart as a proud Colorado State University alum and home to many of her family and friends. For the Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa and Bahia Resort Hotel, she manages the Southeast and most of the international market. Beth cherishes time with her family in their new home just outside San Diego, in Temecula, CA, and enjoys all the beauty and lifestyle that Southern California has to offer.

Chris joined The Lodge at Torrey Pines in 2023, and handles the Northeast, Northern California, and Pacific Northwest markets. Before joining the team, he served as Director of Sales at the iconic Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs, where he also contributed to the industry as a member of the Board of Directors for Destination Colorado Meetings. His background includes serving as Director of National Sales at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs and honing his expertise as a Sales Manager at The Omni Grove Park Inn—a historic resort in his hometown of Asheville, North Carolina. Outside of work, Chris enjoys attending live music events, discovering new restaurants, exploring San Diego’s beautiful beaches, and traveling.

Heather joined the Group Sales Department at The Lodge at Torrey Pines in 2017, bringing with her a strong background in the event industry and a deep passion for hospitality. Over the years, she has advanced through various roles within the Sales Department and now serves as the Director of National Accounts. In this role, Heather is the primary point of contact for all group business originating from the mountain states and the Southeast. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time on San Diego’s scenic beaches and exploring new restaurants throughout North County San Diego.

Matthew has been with The Lodge at Torrey Pines for over 22 years, building a distinguished career defined by dedication, leadership, and continued growth. He began his journey with the property as a doorman, later advancing to Reception Services Manager in 2015. In 2018, he transitioned into the Sales Department, where he further honed his expertise in hospitality sales and client relations. In September 2024, Matthew was appointed Corporate Director of Leisure Sales and Partnerships. In this role, he leads the leisure and business transient travel markets for The Lodge at Torrey Pines serving as the primary liaison for luxury travel consortia, wholesale partners, and corporate travel accounts. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Diego State University.

Being born and raised in Southern California, he went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Ryan’s passion for hospitality began while working at the Rosewood Miramar Beach Resort during college, and after graduation, he followed his dream of living by the coast in sunny San Diego. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys exploring the outdoors, expressing his creativity, and immersing himself in his love of music.

Originally from upstate New York, Nathan achieved his longtime goal of moving to San Diego in 2020 after graduating from Franklin Pierce University with a degree in Business Management and Marketing. Kate joined Evans Hotels in April 2015 as a Reservations Sales Agent. In November 2016, she transitioned to the Corporate Marketing Department as Marketing Coordinator, where she provided invaluable support to the team and project-managed marketing initiatives and campaigns. In July 2025, Kate stepped into her current role as Leisure Travel Manager, where she oversees luxury consortia and wholesaler travel markets. Outside of work, Kate enjoys traveling, attending music shows and spending time outdoors with her husband, 5 children, and her dog, Lou.

In her free time, Kate loves to try new coffee shops, and spend time outdoors, whether it’s running, camping, or walking along the beach.
