Director of Sales
Stephanie joined The Lodge at Torrey Pines in September 2002, five years after moving to San Diego from Ontario, Canada. Stephanie’s started at The Lodge as the first Executive Meeting Manager and then was promoted to National Sales Manager followed by Associate Director of Sales. Since July 2013, she has served as the Director of Sales and leads the entire sales team while specializing in group business traveling from Canada, her home country. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys sunny San Diego beach days with her family and watching her 8-year-old son, Jonathan, surf the beautiful coastline of the Pacific Ocean.
Associate Director of Sales
Lauren found her home at The Lodge at Torrey Pines in 2018 after five years in the Orange County luxury hotel market. Lauren was born and raised in San Diego and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Southern California. As the Director of National Accounts, she demonstrates a passion for consultative sales, team leadership, and colleague mentorship. Her extensive experience and knowledge of Southern California give Lauren a unique perspective to find the perfect venue for your group. The way to Lauren’s heart is through her golden retriever, Gunnar, and a sunset cocktail.
Director of National Accounts
Beth joined Evans Hotels in February 2012 with 14 years of hotel sales experience. She has represented the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa and The Lodge at Torrey Pines as National Sales Manager, and the Bahia Resort Hotel as Director of Sales. With her knowledge and expertise of the Evans Hotels portfolio, Beth now represents all three of our hotels, including the Bahia Sternwheelers and Evans Garage, as Director of National Accounts for Evans Hotels. Beth graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant Resort Management from Colorado State University. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her husband and children.
Director of National Accounts
With 15 years of sales experience in the hotel industry, Lauren O’Sullivan joined as the Director of National Accounts in 2022. Before joining The Lodge at Torrey Pines, Lauren worked for Hotel Californian in Santa Barbara as the Director of National Accounts, handling the Southern California market and the Southwest territories. Before that, she served as a Senior Sales Manager and Business Development for Hilton Hotels as well as a National Sales Manager for Caesars Entertainment. Lauren has been in Southern California for 17 years and graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Sales and Meeting Management.
National Sales Manager
Heather joined the Group Sales Department at The Lodge in 2017 with expertise in the event industry and a passion for hospitality. Starting as a Sales Coordinator, she was promoted to an Executive Meeting Manager and then a National Sales Manager all within two years. Being born and raised in Southern California, Heather enjoys working with our local market in San Diego County as well as being our point of contact for all groups residing in the Southeast. In her spare time, you can find Heather enjoying all of San Diego's breathtaking beaches or exploring new breweries in the North County of San Diego.
National Sales Manager
With nearly a decade of experience in the hotel industry, Megan joined the team at The Lodge at Torrey Pines in 2022. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and after graduation, she quickly made her way back down the coast to her sunny hometown of San Diego. While finding her true happiness in group sales, Megan has worked in nearly every department that a hotel consists of. In her spare time, she likes rubbing elbows with the local Garibaldi fish and leopard sharks as a certified scuba diver.
Area Business & Leisure Travel Manager
As the Area Business & Leisure Travel Manager, Matthew is The Lodge's liaison for luxury travel consortia and business travel needs. He handles client requests and corporate accounts for exclusive travel and lifestyle agencies that need under 10 rooms for transient business in San Diego. Matthew has been with The Lodge at Torrey Pines for nearly 20 years and has excelled in his multi-faceted career by starting as a doorman and being promoted to the Reception Services Manager in 2015 before settling into his new role in the Sales Department in 2018. Matthew earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Diego State University.
Sales Manager, Executive Meetings
Monica joined our team in 2021 as our Sales Coordinator. She was promoted to Sales Manager, Executive Meetings in July of 2022 and now handles all small market groups of 11-19 rooms. Monica obtained her Bachelor of Science from California State University, Chico, where she studied Hospitality Management and Marketing. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Monica is no stranger to the California Coastline.
Nathan joined The Lodge at Torrey Pines in 2022. Nathan is native of Upstate New York and moved to San Diego following his graduation from Franklin Pierce University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing. Nathan’s dream has always been to live in San Diego since his family started vacationing here annually for the last 15 years. Outside of work Nathan can be found enjoying sporting events, going to the beach, and traveling.
