The Lodge at Torrey Pines Reimagines its 18th Annual Celebrate the Craft
The Lodge at Torrey Pines’ 18th annual Celebrate the Craft may be a little different this year, but the curated offerings showcasing local farms, wineries and chefs will be as robust as years prior.
The four-course dinners will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursdays, and are priced at $165 per person.
They were created and designed to pay homage to former Celebrate the Craft festivals, with each event featuring guest chefs from years past. The Lodge’s Executive Chef Jeff Jackson, the festival’s originator, and Chef de Cuisine Kelli Crosson partner with the guest chefs to curate a unique menu utilizing seasonal bounty from local growers.
The prix fixe menu will include wine pairings from a featured California winery, which includes Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel, plus a take-home gift from The Lodge’s team.
To adhere to social distancing requirements, each guest party will have their own table. Reservations are required, with only 40 seats available for each dinner. The featured guest chefs are:
- Oct. 15 | Jason McLeod (Consortium Holdings) and Matt Gordon (Blue Bridge Hospitality).
- Oct. 22 | Tim Kolanko (Urban Kitchen Group), Brad Wise (Trust, Fort Oak), and James Foran (Grossmont College).
- Oct. 29 | Drew Deckman (Deckman’s En Moger), Greg Frey (Golden Door) and Lori Sauer (The Lodge at Torrey Pines.)
- Nov. 5 | Steven Reimer (Oceana Coastal Kitchen), Paul Arias (The Lodge at Torrey Pines) and Lori Sauer (The Lodge at Torrey Pines).
The culinary experiences are in partnership with local farms including Liberty Ducks, Brandt Beef, Coleman Farms, Windrose Farms, Terra Madre Farms and Bread & Cie.
